God is good ... all the time!

Worship Ministry

The focal point and goal of our music ministry is to give glory to our Father in Heaven using the gift of music.  One way we do this is by singing His praises in two Sunday morning services.  We enjoy a blended style of worship for our 8:30 and 11:00 services, combining contemporary Christian choruses with classic hymns of faith.  Our 6:00 service on Sunday evening is musically traditional and is a great time of discipleship and praise.  All services provide excellent opportunities for giving glory to our Lord through music.
AFBC Worship Choir
Our Adult Choir helps to lead the worship in our traditional service. Through special performances of musicals, cantatas and anthems, the choir takes a vital role in ministering to individuals throughout our area. Rehearsals take place at 7:30 on Wednesday nights and everyone is invited to join.
AFBC Praise Team & Band
The Praise Team & Band lead the worship in both of our Sunday morning worship services. This is an auditioned group consisting of various talented church members with many different musical abilities. Rehearsals are at 8:30 on Wednesday nights.
The Arcadia Ringers
The Arcadia Ringers are the adult handbell choir here at AFBC.  They meet every Monday night at 6:00 to ring praises to the Lord.  The Arcadia Ringers perform regularly for our Sunday morning services and are often invited to perform for special events outside the church.
AFBC Children's Choir
At Arcadia FBC we believe that children begin to learn how to worship the Lord at a very young age.  Our children’s choir program is designed to help them learn different aspects of music while also learning how to worship God through that music.  Children’s choir is fun, educational and aids children in their growing relationship with the Lord.  Currently, our children's choir is learning to play handchimes.  Children will additionally have opportunities to participate in musicals and other periodic song performances.  This choir meets at 6:30 pm every Wednesday night during the school year.  All children, ages 4 to the sixth grade are invited to participate.
AFBC Drama Ministry
Frequently we will share dramatic presentations with the church during worship services or in special performances. Church members with an interest in drama are encouraged to use their gifts in these events.
